How To Make Your Laptop Screen Brighter When Using Battery

There are a lot of questions as to why the laptop screen turns dark when running on batteries.

Well, basically, as far as I know, the laptop computer batteries are designed to save and preserve the life of battery usage . By default, when you try to use your laptop using the battery, you will get a dimmer or darker screen compared to the screen when the computer is plugged on an electrical power outlet.

Some users are wondering how to fix this kind of problem.Well, every laptop computer is equiped with key functions for adjusting the screen's resolution.

The first and most probable fix to this kind of problem that I could suggest is by using the hot key function on the keyboard which is the "fn" hot key which can be seen on the lower left section on the laptop. I think it doesn't matter whether it is an Hp laptop computer, Sony, Dell, Toshiba, Acer, Compaq, Gateway, Fujitsu, Apple computers, Averatec or any another computer brands, they all have the "fn" function key.

The first thing you need to do to increase the brightness of your screen is :

• to press down the "fn" key on your keyboard while continuously tapping the "f8" key on hp or "f7" on Toshiba laptops. For other laptop brands, just look at your keyboard, on the topmost middle portion of your keyboard where you find the f6,f7 or f8, check for the arrow up sign which should sit beside f7 on toshiba laptops and f8 for hp laptops. In some computers like sony laptops, you will not be seeing the arrow up but instead you will see a + sign beside the f7 or f8 key. After tapping F7, if you think your screen has become too bright you can always decrease the brightness by hitting F6 with an arrow down or a (-) negative sign while you press and hold Fn simultaneously.
