How To Turn On Firewall / Internet Security

If you won’t do this step, your computer security is in jeopardy. Remember that your “Firewall” is turned off. You can’t leave it that way forever. You have to turn it on again.

To do this, go to

1. Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Security Center
4. Click Windows Firewall
5. This time click on the radio button that says “On (recommended)”
6. Then click Ok.

This setting protects your computer by blocking outside sources and unauthorized users from gaining access to your computer via internet or network.

There you go. Your computer is now secured.

Note : I experienced this connection problem after I installed a software. Usually, when you install a software like antivirus software, website designing software, graphic design software or any type of software, in some cases, your firewall settings maybe interrupted. The firewall may block you from accessing certain websites most especially to websites who are reported as “Attack Websites”. You just have to reconfigure your firewall settings by doing following the above instructions to fix the problem. Firewall is a security program that controls access to the internet.
